It has long, flat, oval-shaped leaves that are dark green in color and can reach up to 12 inches in length. Its stunning sweet fragrant white flowers bloom only one night a year. Epiphyllum oxypetalum is an epiphytic plant that grows best when attached to a support structure such as a trellis or fence. It can also be grown in hanging baskets or on top of shelves or tables.
