Jade
Jade, also known as Crassula ovata, is a beautiful and easy-to-care-for succulent that is native to South Africa. This plant is commonly found in dry, rocky environments, and is well-suited to indoor growing.
Jade has thick, oval-shaped leaves that are a beautiful shade of green, with a slight tint of blue or gray. The leaves are often tinged with red on the edges, and may develop a pinkish-red hue when exposed to bright light. The plant may also produce small, star-shaped white or pink flowers, but these are not the main attraction of the plant.
Jade is a slow-growing plant that can eventually reach a height of 3 feet, but is often kept much smaller in pots. This plant is an excellent choice for beginners or those who are looking for a low-maintenance houseplant. Jade can be grown in a variety of containers, and looks great in hanging baskets, small pots, or larger planters.
Plant Care
💦 Water: Allow the soil to dry out completely between waterings, and be careful not to over-water the plant, as this can lead to root rot.
☀️ Light: Bright, indirect light. We recommend LED Full Spectrum Plant Light Strips, 2 foot
🪴 Potting: Prefers well-draining mix high in perlite or sand. We suggest Potted Elephant Cactus & Succulent Potting Mix
🌿 Habit: Low, spreading. Can reach up to 3 feet in height.
