Aeschynanthus speciosus, also known as lipstick plant, is a tropical evergreen native to Southeast Asia. It has glossy, dark green leaves that are oval-shaped and grow in pairs along the stems. The flowers of this plant are bright red and tubular in shape, resembling a tube of lipstick. Aeschynanthus speciosus is an excellent choice for hanging baskets or containers due to its trailing habit. It can reach up to 3 feet in length when given enough space and support.
