Calathea orbifolia

Calathea orbifolia is a stunning plant that is native to South America, specifically the tropical rainforests of Bolivia and Peru. This plant grows in shaded areas on the forest floor, where it thrives in moist, humid conditions.

One of the most striking features of Calathea orbifolia is its large, round leaves that can reach up to 12 inches in diameter. The leaves are a rich shade of green with bold silver stripes that run parallel to the veins. The undersides of the leaves are a deep purple color. While this plant doesn't typically produce flowers, it can occasionally produce small, inconspicuous white or yellow flowers.

Calathea orbifolia is a relatively slow-growing plant, often grown as a houseplant or as an accent in a tropical garden. It is a stunning plant that can add a touch of tropical beauty to any space.
