Monstera deliciosa
4 inch pot
Monstera deliciosa, also known as the "Swiss cheese plant", is a tropical plant native to the rainforests of Central and South America, including Mexico and Panama.
In its natural habitat, Monstera deliciosa can grow up to 30 feet tall, but as a houseplant, it typically reaches around 6-10 feet in height. Its large, heart-shaped leaves are the plant's most distinctive feature, with deep slits and holes that give them a unique, almost artistic appearance.
Although Monstera deliciosa can produce small flowers, they are typically inconspicuous and not very showy. The plant's main attraction is its stunning foliage.
To care for a Monstera deliciosa, it requires bright, indirect sunlight and consistent watering. Allow the top layer of soil to dry out before watering again, and avoid letting the plant sit in water. Monstera deliciosa also prefers a well-draining, slightly acidic potting mix.
This plant is perfect for adding a tropical touch to any indoor space, and it's relatively easy to care for. Its large leaves can add a bold statement to any room, and it's also an excellent air purifier, making it an excellent addition to any home or office.
