Rhipsalis cereoides, also known as the Mistletoe Cactus, is a species of epiphytic cactus native to tropical regions of South America. It is found in tropical forests, usually near the tree tops. This dangling, pendulous cactus has thin, green, cylindrical stems. The flowers are small and white in color and bloom in the spring. Rhipsalis cereoides prefers bright indirect light and should be watered when the soil is dry to the touch. It prefers a well-draining potting soil mix with added perlite or pumice for extra drainage. This cactus has an upright, pendulous growth habit. Rhipsalis cereoides is a beautiful, interesting plant and makes a great addition to any indoor or outdoor garden.
