Tillandsia butzii

Tillandsia butzii is a species of air plant native to the rainforests of Central and South America. It has long, thin, grey-green leaves that form a rosette shape and can reach up to 8 inches in diameter. The plant produces small, yellow flowers that bloom in the spring and summer months. Water and lighting care for Tillandsia butzil is easy. It prefers bright, indirect light and should be soaked in room temperature water for approximately 15 minutes once a week. It does not need soil and can be potted in a container of gravel or sand. Tillandsia butzil forms looks great mounted on cork or driftwood or hung in a bright location. It is also an excellent choice for a living wreath or centerpiece.
