Tradescantia pallida “Kartuz Giant”
in a 2 inch pot
Tradescantia pallida “Kartuz Giant” is a trailing succulent native to Mexico and Guatemala. It has thick, fleshy, triangular-shaped leaves that are deep purple on the top and bottom with a light green center. The delicate flowers are small and three-petaled, usually in shades of pink or purple. This plant prefers bright indirect light and should be watered when the soil is dry to the touch. It does best in well-draining potting soil with added perlite for extra drainage. Tradescntia pallida has a trailing habit and can be used as a ground cover or in hanging baskets. With its rich purple foliage, it is a great choice to add color to your houseplant collection.
